Terms of Service — Outstanding Tiny Desk

Agreement

By using outstandingtinydesk.org (“Outstanding Tiny Desk”, “the service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What the service is

Outstanding Tiny Desk is an independent, fan-made AI parody tool. It generates vertical videos that place people from your uploads into a stylized “desk concert” scene inspired by a viral meme. It is not affiliated with NPR, Tiny Desk Concerts, Charlie Wilson, The Gap Band, TikTok, or any sports league or team.

Acceptable use

You agree to:

• Upload only photos of yourself or adults who explicitly agreed to appear in your video
• Not upload photos of minors, celebrities, coaches, players, or other public figures unless that person is you and you consent
• Not present outputs as real NPR performances, official endorsements, or factual news
• Mark shared clips as AI-generated where platforms require it
• Use outputs for personal, non-commercial fun unless you have cleared rights for commercial use (including music)
• Not harass, defame, or impersonate others
• Not attempt to bypass credits, rate limits, or security

We may refuse or remove content that violates these rules or our policies.

Accounts and payments

• Sign-in may be required to buy packs and generate videos.
• Paid only: there is no free render tier unless we explicitly offer one in writing.
• One-time packs (Standard, HD Duo, HD Five) do not auto-renew. Unused video entitlements do not expire unless stated at purchase.
• Failed renders should return reserved credits per our billing logic.
• Refunds are limited except where required by law—contact support@astrocarto.org for billing issues.

Intellectual property

• Your photos: you retain ownership. You grant us a limited license to process them solely to generate your video.
• Outputs: subject to third-party rights (including music). You are responsible for how you post clips on social platforms.
• Our site and technology remain our property or our licensors’. Do not reverse engineer or misuse the service.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is”. AI output may look imperfect. We do not guarantee viral reach, platform approval, or that audio will stay unmuted on social apps.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Changes

We may update these Terms on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
